Lenawee County Commissioners recently passed a resolution to recognize the work of The Lenawee County Victim’s Rights Division, part of the Lenawee County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.
A resolution passed by the commission stated the county is “dedicated to building partnerships with trusted sources of support, including community leaders, religious groups, schools, and other agencies to better reach and serve all victims of crime, no matter their community.”
Last year there were 782 crimes with victims in Lenawee County, and advocate services were accepted in 82 percent of the cases, according to the April 18, 2015 Daily Telegram article.
